Harry Styles’ last album cycle was the biggest of his career thus far. His third studio album, Harry’s House, won him the Grammy for album of the year at the 2023 Grammys. He was also awarded the Grammy for best pop vocal album. Along with the massive album came a massive tour that brought the star to cities across the world. Towards the end of his tour, Styles went on to play two record breaking residencies. He played fifteen sold out nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and fifteen sold out nights at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The singer’s final show of the monumental “Love On Tour” took place over two years ago in July 2023 in Reggio Emilia, Italy. A few days ago, footage from this show went live online, exciting fans that Harry is about to begin his next era and a new album cycle.
Forever, Forever
Styles surprised fans with a new video on Youtube titled “Forever, Forever.” The video features footage from his last night on tour. The candid shots of fans full of excitement is cinematic and moving. The energy from the fans comes directly out of the screen and straight into the feelings of the viewers.
When the video cuts to Harry on stage, he addresses the crowd by saying, “I wrote this for you.” The musician sits at the piano dressed in a shiny, gold outfit. The song is soft, cinematic, beautifully bringing one chapter to a close. As much as this song celebrated what a ride “Love On Tour” was, there is something about the piano ballad that leaves fans with hope and excitement for what is to come the next time Harry gets back on the stage.
The camera cuts out to the crowd who is speechless. Some fans are crying. There is no doubt that Harry Styles has captured everyone in that arena’s attention. I couldn’t help but get emotional watching “Forever, Forever.” The video concludes with a shot of the sea of fans cheering along with the sound of fireworks. In the last few seconds, the words “WE BELONG TOGETHER,” concludes the breathtaking video.
We Belong Together
“We Belong Together” suggests a comeback is imminent. While we don’t know much, fans are anticipating some sort of announcement relatively soon. In addition to the release of “Forever, Forever,” Styles launched a new website that requires a password to get in. Fans are unsure where to find the password. However, the website features a countdown with twenty one days left. The launch of what fans are calling HS4 has been subtle. However, there is no doubt that the language Harry used to kickstart this era are working together. “Forver, forever” and “we belong together” sound like they are sending messages to each other.
The new video and new website are building anticipation towards an announcement that will hopefully come soon. Many are executing Style’s new project to drop in the earlier half of next year, but we shall see.
