Slayyyter Teases New Song

by Nathan Corrál

It’s the first week of 2026 and there are already a handful of releases we are anticipating for this one. One I am personally excited for, is hyper pop, electronic artist, Slayyyter’s new project. After a few posts on social media, it looks like fans are about to get another sneak peek at what she’s been working on in the studio.

What A Year

Despite not releasing a new album in 2025, Slayyyter managed to have a killer year. This summer, Slayyyter joined Kesha on the “Tits Out Tour” playing arenas and amphitheaters across the U.S. While on the road, she played some brand new songs that fans are hoping will be featured on her upcoming album. Slayyter also teamed up with Kesha and Rose Gray for a killer collab. “ATTENTION!” was one of the best songs that dropped in Summer 2025. Its club heavy energy and cheeky lyrics made it an instant Kesha classic with the help of Slayyyter and Rose Gray.

Even though we didn’t get a new album, Slayyyter still made sure to give listeners some incredible singles to play all year. “BEAT UP CHANEL$” was her first single of the year setting the stage for the brand new era she is about to embark on. The pop club anthem shows Slayyyter at her best. The high energy, electronic beat, and cheeky lyrics come together to create an incredible lead single.

“CANNIBALISM!” followed “BEAT UP CHANEL$” a few months later. On this one, Salyyyter brings out hypnotic, spooky production. “CANNIBALISM!!” is darker than the sound listeners are used to. The visuals for this track are some of the best of her career so far. They’re stunning and breathtaking. She directed the music video herself, really building and creating a world she wants her listeners to live in when they play the next tracks.

“CRANK,” my favorite out of all the singles, closed out Slayyyter’s year. This song is the most chaotic in the best way possible. The energy is infectious, demanding you play the song at full volume and go absolutely crazy. What we’ve learned from the singer is that she’s not here to play. She is writing, producing and involved in every aspect of the music she is creating. That transpires when you hear the songs, see the visuals and when she performs on stage.

Let Me Dance

A few days ago, Slayyyter gave fans a snippet of what we can only imagine is the next single for this album rollout. On social media, the singer teased a short preview of a new song. The lyrics go “I kinda hate you, but it doesn’t matter let me dance.” The star is described as “ipod music” nostalgic of music from the 2010s. Sonically and visually she is nailing the target. Fans all over social media have expressed how excited they are for this one to drop.

We don’t have an official track title or release date, but we are sure it will come out soon. Same goes for her upcoming album. Slayyyter has teased new music, hinted at seeing fans next year and that her album is “so good.” The record is rumored to be called Worst Girl In America. Knowing Slayyyter that sounds right up her alley for an album title.

Along with the new album, Slayyyter is set to make her Coachella debut this April.
