New Music Friday: Bruno Mars, Robyn and More!

by Nathan Corrál

The weekend is finally here! As we get the ball rolling in 2026, each week just gets better and more stacked with fresh releases. Before we get into it, let me tell you, this week is pretty solid. There is plenty of music that dropped this week that has us excited and ready for the weekend. In this week’s New Music Friday, we have tracks from Bruno Mars, Robyn and more!

“I Just Might” Brunor Mars

After nearly a decade, Bruno Mars is back with his first solo release. “I Just Might” marks Mars’ long awaited return to music. In his time away, he was still making hits and winning Grammys in his duo Silk Sonic, with Anderson .Paak. On “I Just Might” Mars blends disco, funk and pop for a feel good, romantic track. It’s groovy and reminiscent of a 70s vibe. What’s not to love? We can all agree that the wait for Bruno Mars’ return was worth it. Along with the single, the singer announced a brand new album. The Romantic drops on February 27th. In case you missed it, Cheyenne gave us a rundown of everything we know about the record so far. Check it out here!

“Talk To Me” Robyn

Speaking of album announcements, global sensation, Robyn, announced her brand new record Sexistential out March 27th. “Talk To Me” is the second single from the project. The track is driven by pulsing synths that will have you hooked from the moment you hit play. When the pre chorus hits, there is a build and build of tension until the chorus erupts heavily in synths. Robyn was extra generous this week when she also dropped the title track from the album.

“Punk Rocky” A$AP Rocky

Next in this week’s New Music Friday is the brand new track from A$AP Rocky. “Punk Rocky” is a preview of the rapper’s experimental rap era. The track is heavily influenced with punk elements. Sonically, the song is stripped down with distorted guitars and lush, psychedelic production. It’s a refreshing sound that has fans excited. This sounds works well for the rapper. It’s cool, it’s not trying to force anything that doesn’t work for him. “Punk Rocky” will be featured on Rocky’s long awaited project Don’t Be Dumb. This one might be my favorite release from this week.

“Good Things Will Come After the Pressure” SAULT

Closing out this week is R&B, soul group SAULT. “Good Things Will Come After the Pressure” is the latest addition to their impressive catalog. What I love about SAULT is that almost every release comes as a sweet surprise. It makes their work feel timeless. “Good Things Will Come After the Pressure” is a perfect example. On the track the members come together creating warm, gentle soundscapes. The minimal production and gospel leaning harmonies are truly unlike anything in music right now. It’s impossible to put SAULT into just one category because they beautifully pull elements from so many genres that make them unique.

See you next week for another round of brand new tunes!
