With true passion for music, Atomyard brings a dynamic energy everywhere he plays. Living in Miami, Atomyard has co-created many endeavors, including Speaker Box Productions, Castaway, and On-Deck: exclusive boat and private island parties. We sat down at III Points Music Festival and got the scoop on his music filled life.
How and when did you get started in the music industry?
- It has been 20 years in the making. And we’re focused on THE NOW. We’re producing, throwing events, and making music.
How do you think you’ve grown from when you started to now?
- Oh, it’s a constant growth. Every person that I’ve met in my life has contributed to that. You take things personally and grow a style from that.
How would you describe your sound to somebody that hasnt heard you play before?
- Well now I’m very raw, like techno stripped down. I explore more into the electro sound with drums. But it’s upbeat and in your face. I think it’s fun and I’m having a good time doing it! I keep exploring and learning from other DJs and different genres. It’s like a blend to my perfect recipe!
What makes you creative and what inspires you?
- You have a goal. You want to entertain people and express yourself with the music. You want to make people understand you a little bit. It’s the purpose. Thats what inspires me. We need to make others grow. We need to make others hear and feel.
