Day Wave is a solo indie-rock project that originated in Oakland, California. Jackson Phillips is the brain behind the studio productions and he continues to push out a hazy 80s rock vibe. Day Wave formed in 2015 and Phillips began releasing content on his SoundCloud and very quickly gained the attentions from fans all over.
Day Wave signed with the Australian label I Oh You Forever and became the first international artist to do so. He released two singles through the Australian output and continued to grow a steady fan base internationally. Day Wave released his first EP ‘Headcase’ on his own self titled label during the summer of 2015. Day Wave assembled traveling band members to help him push his music on a tour during the fall of 2015. 2016 was a busy year for Day Wave as the band released their second EP ‘Hard To Read’ and later signed with Harvest Records.Day Wave released their debut LP in 2017 titled ‘The Days We Had’ and has released a pair of singles since he album was released.
