2025 is coming to an end in a few weeks. This year was full of some of the best albums to ever come out. While we are still enjoying our favorite albums from this year, we are also getting ready for some huge releases next year. Here are the albums we are excited for in 2026.
Wuthering Heights Charli XCX
On the top of our list is Charli XCX’s upcoming album inspired by the film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights. The album, named after the film, is Charli’s follow up to her viral sensation BRAT. The anticipation to what Charli’s next move would be has been high ever since “BRAT Summer” officially ended. It is safe to say that she won’t let fans down. So far, we have heard two singles from the album. “House” with John Cale is a haunting, cinematic track that will open the album. “Chains of Love” sounds like classic Charli. The hyperpop energy and romantic lyrics perfectly match what the film is about. Wuthering Heights the album will be released on February 13.
The Mountain Gorillaz
Next our list is the ninth studio album from Gorillaz. The Mountain is one of the Gorillaz’s most experiential albums to date. The recording process took place in studios all around the world. Some of the recording locations include London, India, New York, Damascus and more. Sonically, Gorillaz drew inspiration from global and world sounds to create the new project. The record features collaborations from IDLES, Johnny Marr, Sparks and more. Singles like “The God of Lying” and “The Happy Dictator” have set the tone for what is to be a breathtaking body of work. The Mountain will be released on February 27.
Luck…or Something Hilary Duff
Hilary Duff’s return to music has been a long time coming. In 2026, that time will finally come. Last month, Duff released her comeback single “Mature.” It’s the first single from her upcoming album Luck…or Something. The track is pop rock with a Hilary Duff spin. Lyrically, Duff is introspective, tongue-in-cheek. “Mature” is the only taste Duff has given fans. While we’re not sure if we’ll get another single before release date, we have had “Mature” on repeat for the last month. Along with the exciting news of a new record, the pop star also announced a small tour. This limited run will take place in select cities including London, Los Angeles and New York. The tour is fully sold out. Luck…or Something comes out on February 20.

Along with these three anticipated releases, there are some albums we are excited for that are just waiting for a confirmed release date. The first one that comes to mind is Beyonce’s rock album that will be the third and final act of her installment of Renaissance and Cowboy Carter.
In case you haven’t heard any of Slayyyter’s new music from 2025, there is much hype building around her next full length album. “Crank” and “Beat Up Channels” soundtracked the last half of many people’s 2025. We are so excited for what Slayyyter has up her sleeve for 2026.
