Above & Beyond Returns to The Gorge This Summer For Group Therapy Weekender

Since their inception back in 2000, the holy trinity that is Above and Beyond has literally gone above and beyond to prove to us that for them, curating music and events solely to unite the world is what matters most. From headlining massive music festivals such as Ultra, Tomorrowland, EDC, Creamfields, to promoting their uplifting sound through their Group Therapy radio show, and bringing other remarkable talent aboard their label. The trio is easily one of the most renowned group of electronic music producers in the world. With almost 20 years in the game now, Above & Beyond has not only been consistent in creating new music for their fans year after year, but curating some of the world’s most extravagant events for attendees to deeply indulge in.

With their ABGT250 debut at The Gorge Amphitheater in Washington being so successful back in 2017, the trio is thrilled to announce their return to what they consider their “spiritual home” this summer on July 27th and 28th. If you’re unfamiliar with what ABGT events consist of, they’re meant to celebrate the radio show’s every 50th episode, in which the events are broadcasted live and streamed worldwide for followers to be a part of no matter where in the world they may reside. The previous intimate production at The Gorge was merely a celebration of their 250th ABGT broadcast, dedicating yet another successful milestone in the name and musical culture the group has created for themselves over the years. This past turnout at The Gorge was so immense that the group has decided to bring it back once again, this time promoting the event as their new summer music festival, Group Therapy Weekender.

Although the festival’s lineup has yet to be released, the two-day venture is set to feature exclusive acts from the trio themselves, along with back to back sets from the best in Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep talent. Think of it as an escape from reality for two whole days, surrounded by nothing but the incredible vibes that the Anjuna Family is known for constantly spreading throughout the atmosphere. Not to mention the breathtaking views that this venue withholds, harmoniously blending a glimpse of nature, serenity, and pure bliss from the sounds of wholehearted live music. Attendee reviews from the ABGT250 installment claim that their experience at The Gorge was one of the most magical and spiritually uplifting experiences they had ever encountered. Hence why the decision to bring a similar if not better executed event is surely a remarkable one.

Jono, Tony, and Paavo have proven to be some of the most genuine and kind-hearted music artists in the game, and with intricately planned out events such as this summer’s Group Therapy Weekender, it’s safe to say that the love they share with their fans is their number one priority. If you’ve attended an Above & Beyond show, you’re familiar with the inspirational quotes that they type up on a whim all while their set is going on. Meant to speak volumes to their massive crowds, these quotes reflect everything the trio hopes to represent in the music world. This along with their inspiriting melodies and lyrics, Above & Beyond and friends are always known to stir both our hearts and our souls during every set. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway this summer to gain some peace of mind, prepare to get lost and discover yourself once again at this year’s Group Therapy Weekender. An excuse to dance under the sun, the moon, and all of the vibrant stars at the beautifully scenic venue that is The Gorge Amphitheater, it’s time to start planning what’s about to be an unforgettable weekend.
