Something Beautiful to Look Forward To
Following Miley Cyrus’ 2023 release of Endless Summer Vacation, Something Beautiful is a visual album. That record featured her hit song “Flowers”, which later went on to win the star her first Grammy. Cyrus won another Grammy at this past year’s ceremony for her collaboration with Beyonce on, “II Most Wanted.” Along with her appearance on Cowboy Carter, the singer covered “Psycho Killer” on the Talking Heads 2024 tribute album.
It is safe to say that the superstar continually proves that she is not bound to any genre. This has created much excitement for what she will create next.

A few months ago, the singer announced the title of her record along with a twist. Anticipation began when she noted that her new album would be a visual album. Cyrus noted that her inspiration came heavily from Pink Floyd’s iconic 1979 release, The Wall. The album was made to transcend the standard listening experience. Cyrus envisions the project as a visual album that transcends traditional musical boundaries, offering listeners a unique fusion of music, fashion, and art.

An album with the title “beautiful” most certainly comes with beautiful album artwork. As always, Cyrus delivers. The album artwork features Cyrus wearing a breathtaking archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture. This is a side of Miley that fans have yet to see. The close up shot of the star creates a sense of intimacy.
In every Miley Cyrus era, she reinvents herself–from her sound to her look– constantly delivering something fresh. She is one of a kind, and this new album sounds like that as well. To bring the album to life, a visual element will be released shortly after the record.
On The Big Screen
Along with the release date of the new record, fans were informed of an original musical film that will accompany the album. The musical’s release comes shortly after, in June. The joint announcement featured a stunning trailer. Dozens of visuals occupy the brief trailer. Cyrus looks absolutely remarkable in each look, and each scene. A sense of mystery lingers on as the performer teases the audience, leaving fans anticipating the album and accompanying musical.

While Miley Cryus openly shared about her relationship with touring during her last album cycle, there is always the chance that a tour may accompany the new album. Despite not going on a headline tour, the pop star has delivered several unforgettable performances at major music festivals around the world.
