Laneisha’s first pick is a raw electrifying anthem that perfectly captures the restless energy of wanting to escape. With pulsing drums, distorted production and Ethel’s signature mix of vulnerability and attitude, the song feels like a sonic adrenaline rush.

Track Two – “Find a Way” –  Douvelle19

Another song that has been on repeat for Laneisha is this dreamy blend of synths, smooth beats and introspective lyricism. The song effortlessly balances a chilled-out vibe with an undercurrent of determinations, making it the perfect listen for late-night drives.

Track Three – “I Don’t Wanna Fall in Love, It’s Too Late Now” –  Chase Shakur

Chase Shakur gives us smooth, moody production and effortless vocal delivery. The song perfectly captures the bittersweet pull of love and hesitation. His laid-back yet emotionally rich tone glides over hypnotic melodies, creating a late-night R&B vibe that feels both intimate and cinematic.

My Selects

Track Seven – “Santé” – Stromae

My first track’s groove, layered percussion and melody makes it hard to sit still when you’re listening to it, while its socially conscious message adds depth to the party-ready sound. Whether you’re raising a glass in solidarity or just looking for a song that makes you move, add this one to your playlist.

Track Eight – “Party” –  Daughter

Elena Tonra’s delicate yet emotionally piercing vocals drift over sparse, melancholic instrumentation, capturing the feeling of loneliness that can linger. This track sways between nostalgia and regret, painting vivid imagery of fleeting moments and unspoken emotions, With its dreamy yet devastating atmosphere, “Party” is the perfect soundtrack for introspective nights and quiet reflections.

Track Nine – “Here in Spirit” – Jim James

My final select comes from Jim James. The lyrics encourage standing up for what’s right, even when faced with adversity, making it both timely and timeless. Blending elements of rock, soul, and psychedelic influences, Here in Spirit feels like a rallying cry for change while remaining deeply personal and introspective.

We hope you find a song or two that you vibe with!
