The Legendary Nights Tour was “Sensational”

Two nights ago, I was able to attend the Legendary Nights Tour at the Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheater. This tour was put on by rap legends Meek Mill and Future, and they brought along Mustard, YG, and Megan Thee Stallion. First things first, this whole show was literally AMAZING. My boyfriend and I bought lawn seats because we wanted to chill and vibe in the grass. I brought a tapestry of mine and thankfully it wasn’t too crowded when we got there. We found our spot and shortly after, YG hopped on stage.

YG was the perfect choice to open the show, as he definitely set the hype for the rest of the night. I do wish he performed longer (CALIFORNIA FOREVER), but he performed a bunch of his best songs, including “Loco” – everyone went crazy for that one (including me). After YG finished, Megan Thee Stallion came on stage and didn’t disappoint. Her twerking skills are unmatched and it was definitely a pleasure to watch. I didn’t know who Megan was until a few months ago, but the Houston hottie surely knows how to party.

After a brief intermission, our main men finally came out. I love Meek Mill and Future equally, but seeing them perform together was truly sensational, as Future would say. They did a many of their songs together, but sometimes Meek would perform a song a Future would step off the stage, and vice versa. Personally, the whole concert was constructed flawlessly because I feel like all artists were given ample amount of time to really give the crowd what we wanted. Future and Meek Mill tagged team, and I really think they brought out the best in each other. The best thing about the whole night too was that Meek and Future both played a bunch of their old classics – I’m talking bops from my freshman year of college (4 years ago). It was very nostalgic for me, and I’m so glad I went, even though it was on a Monday night. The best song of the night for me was when Future performed “Wicked”. I haven’t heard that song since my freshman year and I couldn’t help but get up and go crazy.

Watching music live is my absolute favorite thing to do, so if you ever get a chance to see one of your favorites live, I totally recommend it. Loving an artists’ music through headphones or car speakers is great but being able to see them perform on stage and do what they love is amazing. You can really see how passionate they are about their music. Watching them vibe on stage to their own songs makes you feel like you’re really vibing with them. Future also commented multiple times on how lit we were, so shout out to Tampa!
