Don’t Skip The Gasparilla Music Festival
If you live in the Tampa Bay area, clear you calendar for the weekend of March 10th. For the past few years, the Gasparilla Music Festival has been a growing local tradition, now gaining more national attention. This year, the fest boasts an impressive line up with headliners like The Roots and Father John Misty. The fun doesn’t end with the music, learn more about what this special weekend has to offer.
5. GMF is organized by a non- profit organization that supports music education.
The Gasparilla Music Foundation was founded in 2011 with financial support from many Tampa Bay businesses, the annual festival takes place every year in March in support of music education throughout it’s “Recycled Tunes” program. The mission of the organization is to support and promote local musicians.
4. The ticket price won’t break the bank.
For two days general admission, the ticket will only run you about $60. If you can’t commit to the whole weekend, one day tickets start at only $30. You just can’t beat that.

Foodies delight in Tampa favorites from Cigar City Brewing to Holy Hog BBQ. The fest strives for the promotion of local breweries and restaurants. If the line up hasn’t sold you, we’re quite sure the chicken & waffles or conch fritters will.
