Get excited Mic Drop fam, because tomorrow is officially the first day of Hard Summer 2025. Some of us have been prepared for months and others might be scrambling last minute to figure out fits, set times and parking. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Mic Drop is going to give you a rundown of everything you need to know for one of Summer’s best weekends in LA.
Whether this is your first rave, fifteenth or you have lost count, we will cover everything you need to know!
Getting To The Festival
With any festival, there is always more than one option to choose from when deciding how you want to roll up. If you’re driving to the festival, there are a handful of lots to park in around festival grounds. We recommend paying for parking in advance because prices go up the day of the festival. Who doesn’t love saving a bit of cash?

Next, we have the obvious ride share, Uber and Lyft options. Hard Summer has a designated pick up and drop off area for all the ravers who want to catch a ride to the festival. Hard Summer also has great shuttle options that come from Ontario, Orange County and San Fernando Valley. If this sounds like your jam, make sure you buy your shuttle pass before heading to the shuttle pick up location.
On Saturday, the one and only Lady Gaga will be playing at the Kia Forum located next to the festival grounds, so we recommend getting to the festival early to avoid traffic. You know what that means? You get to catch even more amazing sets from this year’s lineup.
Clear Bag Policy
Like so many festivals and concert venues, Hard Summer has a clear policy. In case you are already familiar with how most clear bag policies go then you have nothing to worry about. Still got some questions? Find the clear bag policy here. We recommend taking a look at them anyway just to make for a smooth and easy entrance.
What’s The Weather Looking Like?
Part of the reason why festival season in California is so magical is because of the amazing weather we get. That being said, let’s take a look at the forecast for this weekend. Saturday and Sunday are bringing sunny skies and weather in the high seventies. While dancing under the sun make sure to hydrate and wear sunscreen. Once the sun goes down, the night will be cool in the low to mid sixties. This sounds like perfect festival weather making for an unforgettable weekend.
Who To Watch At Hard Summer?
Set times dropped this week, and surprise, the conflicts are crazy. In case you missed it, we dropped a piece on our five must see acts at this year’s Hard Summer. With seven stages to choose from, set time conflicts are inevitable. Ravers can rage to some hard techno, dance to house and just about every kind of dance genre in between. We recommend downloading the Insomniac App so you can plan your day out.
Will we see you out at Hard Summer 2025?
