On September 6, 2023, Japanese singer, Ado, released her newest single, ‘Show’. Only two weeks after its release, the song has gained over 9.6 million views on YouTube with heavy promotion circulating on TikTok. At the moment, ‘Show’ is a stand-alone single among many others on her YouTube channel.

Ado emerged onto the music scene in 2017. At age 17, she released her debut single, ‘Usseewa’, which reached #1 on Billboard Japan Hot 100. Not much is known about the artist’s personal life because her name and face are anonymous. Ado took an interest in music in 2014 and began a career as an internet cover singer in 2017. In 2020, she announced her debut with Universal Music Japan and released ‘Usseewa’ in October of that year.
On January 26, 2022, Ado released her first studio album, Kyogen. On August 10, 2022, she released her soundtrack album, Uta’s Songs: One Piece Film: Red, after lending her singing voice in the hit anime film, One Piece Film: Red. Her third album, Ado’s Utattemita, will release on December 13, 2023.
