Adele Dominates Vegas with Chilling Residency

“Hello, it’s me”… the iconic opener also serves as Adele’s welcome at her highly anticipated residency in fabulous Las Vegas. Fans have been eager for this moment to say the least. The road to this residency has been filled with plenty of setbacks and cancellations, leaving many fans wondering if the performance would be worth the wait. I’m here to confirm “Weekends with Adele” has left us breathless with her visualization, song choices, and crowd involvement.

better late than never

After finally launching her long-delayed five-month residency at Colosseum Caesars Palace — it was definitely worth the wait. Previously, in January she had announced just hours before its premiere that she was going to be putting the show off as it simply was not ready. Now here we are, watching the star tearing up, telling the audience that

“I should be giving you a standing ovation”

This isn’t her usual stadium tour. She had wanted to be in a small room to feel closer to her audience. At these shows you can see her strolling through the crowd, as though she were royalty doing her official duties. Her chilling voice that the audience is wrapped around, shows off how much control she has in a room.

The songs are ChilLing

What makes Adele even more lovable is the show is such an emotional experience, you can genuinely see she’s processing in present time. She gets real with her audience talking as if we were best friends for years. But it’s not all serious, she shows her silly side as well. At one point even busting out a T-shirt gun to blast her merch towards the audience.

The 2-hour set list goes from her Grammy Nominated30” to her older albums that has us in a chokehold. Singing songs such as “Oh My God” to “Send My Love (to Your New Lover)”, the audience was eating everything. My personal favorite was “Fire to the Rain” where the singer had flames burning a piano and throughout the set. Along, with a beautiful rainfall in the back, it’s clear she spared no expense in terms of the visuals on this show.

With an Ending comes new Beginnings For adele

As “Weekends with Adele” was coming to an end, she sang “Rolling in the Deep” one of her most iconic hits. Another personal favorite was “Love Is a Game”, ending “30” on a happy loving optimistic note. To the fans that had missed out the first time, they finally got everything they wished for… at least in my opinion.

If this description wasn’t enough for you, and you need to go see it for yourself, “Weekends with Adele” the Las Vegas Residency has tickets on sale now. Along with her latest Album “30” that is available on all streaming platforms.
