Silent Planet joins Senses Fail & The Amity Affliction on the Misery Will Find You Tour

Earlier this month, Senses Fail announced a full U.S. tour with Australian metalcore heavyweights The Amity Affliction as direct support, with Bad Omens and Belmont as supporting acts. The day after the tour was announced, the post-hardcore band went public about a supporting act who chose to drop off the tour due to “the size of their name on the artwork”. Belmont will still be on the Misery Will Find You Tour so I think you can narrow down who chose to dismiss themselves.

The Misery Will Find You tour has officially announced the band that will be replacing Bad Omens and I believe they made a wonderful choice. Silent Planet will be filling the void, coming off their first co-headlining tour alongside Stray From the Path, as well as their first EU/UK headlining tour. The California based band just released their third LP titled When the End Began which was released on Solid State Records. With plenty of fresh musical ammunition at their disposal it will be quite interesting to see what kind of set-list the band throws together. If you are unfamiliar with the band, I highly recommend checking them out. I could speak all day on how brilliant the writing of Garret Russell and the band truly is, but I would rather let you experience it for yourself. Take a listen to “Visible Unseen” which confronts the issue regarding the LGBTQ+ youth who are forced to conceal their identity or are forced out of their homes.

The tour kicks off in early 2019 in Anaheim, California and you can find tickets here!
