People Get Ready; It’s Hulaween

The months have quickly turned into weeks as we creep closer to entering back into the magic that is Hulaween. Below is a carefully crafted playlist I curated to get you ready to groove through the Oak trees at everyone’s favorite Halloween extravaganza. Featured are some of my favorite Thundercat songs and newfound jams from CloZee. I had to add some Cheese because frankly, it would be rude if I didn’t. Umphrey’s Mcgee and Lettuce are sure to make you sway and take you away to your favorite place. Let’s not forget Anderson Paak and The Free Nationals, who have created classic love songs you can’t help but want to slow dance to. There are oodles of other artists to check out within Suwannee this year that I have never heard of but I am more than ready to take in all their jams and add them to next years’ playlist.

Most importantly while browsing through my playlist, don’t forget about the 90’s theme Hulaween decided on this year. Taking us back to Halloweentown and when we first fell for the king of Halloween, Jack Skellington, this theme has nostalgia written all over it for a millennial like me. I’ve been meditating on this deeply and have come down to two costumes. Either Wendy from Casper or Summer from Edward Scissorhands. Knowing me, I will be packing both. Along with my Beetlejuice outfit…. just in case. What are you going to be this Hulaween?
