Have you ever been asked to describe your ideal partner using music? I have. In fact, it was just last Tuesday. I was sitting in bed with my best friend, just chilling, and she posed the question: “If I were to describe my ideal partner using a song, what song would it be?”
My mind went straight to the artist, Vulfpeck, and not necessarily because they’re known for their romanticism. The funky basslines, often comedic lyrics, and irresistible beats consistently put a smile on my face. Isn’t that what love is all about?

The guitar speaks to me as if we’re having an intimate conversation about whatever comes to our minds. Plus, we can’t forget about the climax of the song: the explosive vocals and effects that fade right back into soft guitar represents love to me like nothing else. What ties it all together is the “yes!” at the end. Everyone feels great about what just happened.
