Are you excited about all the queens going on tour this year? Personally, I am stoked that Hayley Kiyoko is one of the queens headed out on a headline tour! It has been four years since she went out on the road, but she is set to make a comeback this spring!
When did she announce the tour?
It’s hard to believe that 2019 was the last time we saw Hayley Kiyoko on the road. She was promoting her debut album, Expectations. Later in the year, she joined Panic! at the Disco as an opener for their tour. Over the last couple of weeks, Kiyoko has been teasing about cities that she plans to perform at via her Twitter.
It’s safe to say she’s come a long way from an opening act. Her personal growth in the last four years has resulted in a world tour to celebrate. In support of her second album, Panorama, the tour will cover the UK, Europe, and North America. “I am so nervous and excited,” Kiyoko wrote on her Instagram post teasing the tour over this past weekend. “I’ve waited so long for this moment, and I can’t wait to see you out there!!! ITS GOING TO BE SO SPECIAL”
When Kiyoko spoke to Billboard about the album, she explained that she wanted to paint Panorama as a tribute to getting through the tough times in life. Also, she felt like she was catching up with her true self, which compelled her to embark on this tour. She wanted to share the story with her fans!
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets for the Panorama Tour go on sale Friday, February 3rd, at 10 a.m. local time. However, if you are a Citi cardholder, you have a better chance with special early access to tickets starting on February 1st.
