GASPARILLA MUSIC FESTIVAL IS BACK IN TAMPA BAY

Gasparilla Music Festival is back to its regularly scheduled program in February 2022. The festival is run by a non-profit organization, Gasparilla Music Foundation, which promotes music and education. But their mission doesn’t stop just the weekend of the festival. Year-round they are involved in other promotions and organizations to encourage their mission.

While their 2020 festival was postponed for October 2021, they’re ready to get back to coordinating with the iconic Gasparilla weekend in Tampa.

They finally released their initial lineup just two months before they’re back on stage. Their headliners for this year include Black Pumas, The Revivalists, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave.

What sets this festival apart from others is its message and its venue. From beer gardens to designated kids’ areas, the festival is open to an audience of all ages. The festivities take place in the iconic Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and Kiley Gardens Park. The waterfront view behind the main stage makes for some killer photo ops. They also have lots of spaces for local food vendors for festival-goers to try.
